A new billing experience is coming

As part of our continued efforts to provide best-in-class systems and processes to you and your Liberty Mutual® small commercial customers, we have begun to migrate eCLIQ® policies onto a new billing platform.

You will first notice this change on new business policies, and over the next 12 to 18 months, renewal policies will also transition from the legacy billing system.

Customers will gain access to improved online self-service through the Billing Online Self-Service Portal, which will also inform them of important account information such as policy renewals.

Once the transition is complete, you will have a unified billing experience, including service processes and commission statements. Until then, you’ll receive commission statements from both systems, and there will be two billing phone numbers for legacy policies (1-866-290-2920) and policies that have transitioned (1-844-961-0334).

Agents in California, Connecticut, Maine, New Hampshire and Vermont have likely already begun seeing changes in the billing process for some policies.

For more detailed information about what’s changing and how it will impact you and your customers, check out this FAQ.

CA: Commercial property policy limit corrections

The limit a client selects for a property policy should offer enough coverage to repair or replace a covered building in the event of a significant loss. If the limit is too low, a client could end up with uninsured expenses and pay out-of-pocket to return the building to its pre-loss condition. Based on the known characteristics and locations of their properties, some clients have in-force policies with limits less than the estimated replacement costs of their covered buildings. To ensure these policyholders have appropriate coverage, we are starting to correct these policies with appropriate limits at renewal.

Use your new Ignite rewards to reach new levels of success this year

Liberty Mutual Ignite, our rewards and recognition program, helps your agency earn more and reach new levels of success. The program offers cash bonuses through Instant Incentives™ as well as free and discounted programs to help you improve in key business areas such as marketing, retention and talent development.

Benefits change each year based on your Ignite level, so be sure to check out your available rewards. And remember — the higher the level, the greater the rewards.

Because Ignite rewards are designed to contribute to your agency’s overall success, many are available at the master agency level only, so sub-agency principals should work with their primary agency principal to redeem rewards.

  • Access to our lead generation program through our partnership with Data Axle, which helps agents in all Ignite tiers keep their prospecting pipelines filled with quality leads all year long.
  • A discounted subscription for the IdealTraits hiring platform to help you retain talent in a challenging job market, plus free or reduced enrollment in development programs for account managers, producers and marketers.
  • For top Ignite levels, eligibility for our annual President’s Award, a five-day trip to an exclusive luxury destination.
