States affected: AR, KS, KY, LA, MD, MO, OH, OK, PA, TX, VA, WV

Quoting defaults are a great starting place for tailoring coverage to your clients’ unique needs, and we recently updated a few of ours.

Here are the changes we made in select states:

• Employment-related practices liability coverage will no longer be automatically added to business owner’s policies written in eCLIQ. If this coverage is right for your client, add it manually under View More Optional Coverages.
• Comp and collision deductible for small commercial auto written in eCLIQ will default to $1,000 instead of $500.
• Property deductible for all package and monoline property quotes will default to $2,500 instead of $1,000.

This is just one more way we’re helping you ensure clients are protected at a price that’s right for them. If you’d like to choose a different deductible to tailor coverage to your client’s needs, you can still choose any of the deductible options available for new business policies. There is no impact to renewal business as a result of these changes.

Additional insured coverage requests are one of the biggest drivers of missing information on endorsements, which can interrupt and even delay the endorsement process.
