To improve data accuracy and ensure your clients have the protection they need, we are making changes to our post-bind review process for sprinkler credit on business owner’s policies (BOPs) in most states.

Beginning May 8, BOPs with buildings that are indicated to have 75% or more sprinkler coverage will go through a review process to ensure they are eligible for sprinkler credit. If we find your client’s policy has incorrect sprinkler coverage listed and is not eligible for sprinkler credit, we will update the policy by endorsement during the underwriting period and notify you via email. In-force policies will go through the review process during renewal.

Improving the accuracy of customer data will allow us to make our business rates more competitive, stabilize our renewal rates and help you sustain profitable growth.
